You should have no problem in collecting this within a month or so ... i think it may be even up until about 6 - 12 months but any longer than even a week and the bookies will whinge and complain but still pay out like they are obliged. So, here's what has happened. My fiance filed chapter 7 3 years ago. His attorney dropped the ball on reaffirming his mortgage. We just found this out yesterday. THe only thing that has anything about dates in the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) is saying that a company has 90 days to give a notice to the representative, but that is for property liens. I am in the middle of an EEOC case. We have already been to a couple of mediation's, to which very little time was actually used to discuss monetary compensation. The sessions were mostly about the changes in the ex-employers eeoc rules. My EEOC attorney has a number in mind that the do not want to settle for any less than. At the last mediation the employer came up some on their offer to which we debated taking but our EEOC attorney told us they were not allowed to except less than their minimum amount wanted. Of course never being through anything like this before we turned it down hoping for another mediation. Now there is a trial date. We really do not want to go and chance getting less or even losing. We talked with EEOC attorney and they actually had spoke with the employer sometime after the last mediation and the offered a little bit more but still not enough and so the attorney turned it down without asking us. We now keep asking to do another mediation or just to accept the last offer. We just keep being put off saying they will check into it or there is no offer on the table at this time, or they keep saying "why don't you want to go to court"? I didn't think anyone liked to go to court. Anyway I want to know what my rights are. I thought you were allowed to settle at anytime. I also thought they were supposed to ask us if there was any offer on the table before they can reject it. What are our options right now to avoid having to go to trial. Strange lights over Pudong, Shanghai?

On May 29th, 2011, I saw some strange lights in the sky from my apartment building in Shanghai. There were four lights in all that seemed to hover and move slowly in a non-consistent pattern. The lights themselves flickered between red and green, but they all seemed to blink at different speeds. I thought that I might simply be observing aircraft landing at the Pudong airport, but this seems unlikely as the four lights seemed to linger for far too long to be commercial airliners. As I've stated before, I was watching them from my balcony facing the Huangpu River (facing east) and looking towards the site of the Shanghai expo. Are these lights from a building? What are they? I'm not the type to jump to conclusions, so I'll leave it to the Yahoo Answers community to give insight (especially if you saw the same thing and are wondering the same thing I am).
