Is it okay to be gay in China?

If someone around me is gay, I can do nothing to stop him, nor can the government. But people will feel quite weird and maybe a little disgusting about you. We can barely accept this kind of thing, I'm sorry. I highly recommend you to disguise your sexual orientation, if you want to build good relationship with your Chinese friends. All because of the traditional concept, it's very hard to be changed here.
