How much will I owe in taxes if I won a prize totaling 8,500$?

I am a full time student that receives financial aid as my only income. I do not have a job or kids and my parents do not claim me. The total amount of my winnings is 8500 and the form is a 1099. I'm just worried that I am going to have to pay back a ton of money to the IRS and I do not have any other income other than my financial aid. Estimates are cool, I am just a little nervous .
