Making my ideas into reality...all feedback appreciated :)?

Hey guys, I've come up with what I think is a revolutionary concept. Obviously I'm not going to give it away but I can tell you that it mirrors what existing online poker sites are doing. It has nothing to do with poker but more about working with existing networks and applying the Betfair model (ie take commission on the winnings). For the sake of conversation lets assume I am setting up a new poker site like Full Tilt Poker for example. Do you think it is possible to achieve despite being completely clueless on programming or creating websites? By that I mean can I hire a team of computer experts without the fear of having my idea stolen? Does anybody know what the costs are when creating a major betting platform?
