Just recieved a letter from the PRIA!!That I have won money just to send twenty dollars!!Trans fer fee !!?

Is this just another one of many scams thats going on out there!!I have recieved like nine different letters from different companys stating that I need to send money to get money!!If I have really WON why can't they just take it from my Winnings.

Get a restraining order. Tell the judge what he has done as far as harassing you. Bring copies of the texts and e-mails. The judge needs to see these to get an accurate view of his frame of mind.

Can I sue the police department for false arrest?

A while back I was accused of false charges where I was arrested I ended up having to hire an attorney and pay 50000$ bond was very stressful and lost my job it came down to the pretrial conference where my lawyer questioned everyone involved. the charges were dropped that very day because both of the people that accused me of the crime during questioning admitted that the police officers that had arrested them told them to implicate me so that they may obtain a warrant for me in exchange for less time for them one of the officers was in plain uniform and the other was masked. My lawyer had everything transcribed so it's all in writing the prosecutor was present and both of my accusers said the same thing. Charges were dropped but I am still outraged and feel very violated I'm out over 15000 that I spent I lost my job that I've had for 5 years and they have slandered my name. Is there anything I can do like a lawsuit or something along those lines. Someone please help.

I know its near impossible to win big at casinos, but if you do, how do they pay you so much?

Like hypothetically speaking, if some person hit the jackpot, worth like $100,000, how does the casino pay that to them? I don't imagine that it would be in cash? Also, if you win money, are there ATM machines in the casino that allow you to deposit it into your bank account right away? I have heard of people getting robbed or followed outside of the casino because they had been watched when they were playing. Is there a way to avoid this, like depositing your winnings into your bank inside the casino, or having bodyguards escort you, or what? Please explain. Thanks!

Has anyone ever filed Chapter 7?

I am a renter, heavily in debt due to circumstances (illness and NO sick days at my place of employment) that led me to have very little income for awhile and a lot of expense. Now I find that I am in over my head in credit card debt, because I used them for all of my expenses such as medical bills, groceries, gas for my car, etc. I have NO extra money and can barely pay my bills. I have an appointment with an attorney to discuss filing Chapter 7 but from what I can read about it, it does not apply to renters or "regular" people.....it is more geared to business owners. If anyone can advise me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much.
