Etiquette T Mobile waster millions of customer's on suit when they were wrong?

T Mobile hired 4 of the most expensive attorneys that money can buy which will negatively impact their customer's wallet. The reason for the suit is that T Mobile gave out their customer's pass codes to strangers. They are suing the so called strangers . Who is more to blame ? The caller requesting the pass codes or T Mobile for repeatedly giving out the pass codes. Also is T Mobile wrong for wasting million of dollars on this when they can not afford to give decent customer service.
